WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES ?

The Reformer allows for a wide range of exercises that target various muscle groups and promote flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. The movements performed on the Reformer emphasise controlled and precise motions, making it suitable for people of all fitness levels, including beginners.

During a Reformer Pilates session, one of our experienced instructors will guide you through a series of exercises that involve pushing or pulling the carriage, adjusting the spring tension to vary resistance, and utilising the straps and handles for additional challenges.

Reformer Pilates is known for its focus on core strength and stability, as the exercises require engagement of the abdominal muscles to control the movements and maintain proper alignment. It also promotes improved posture and body awareness. The benefits of Reformer Pilates include:

  • Increased core strength and stability

  • Improved flexibility and range of motion
